Bridal Hair Inspiration – Crown Braid

Hi darlings! I hope you’re staying warm!!! Lately, all I’ve been working and thinking about is wedding, wedding, wedding! My dress finally came in, however my appointment was cancelled due to the storm. I’m so anxious to see it. We ordered it last March, and had some details customized, so it’s going to be a complete surprise to see the final product! Crossing my fingers I can get into Kleinfelds this week to see it! Another detail about the wedding that I have been going back and fourth on is hair – HAIR! Of all things, I’m all caught up on what type of hairstyle to do. Everyone talks about your dress and shoes, but I think hair is just as important. So I decided to start trying out some hairdos to see what I like best. I hope this helps you too! I worked with and Amika to test out hair accessories, dresses and styles. The first look was a crown braid. What I love about the crown braid is that it frames your face, and looks pretty from the front, side and back. We kept some pieces out of the braid to make the hairstyle look more whimsical; however, you can always tuck those in or add extensions to make the braid thicker. I love that we added the hair accessory to make the crown braid pop! It was such a fun addition. Can’t wait to share the next couple looks with you! x, A

  1. Having styled many brides and hair up is always a winning solution . This crown braid is great , it depends on if you wear a veil or not , you’ll need to try it out . My one pointer to almost every bride is do your own makeup 💄
