Workout Program Week 2

Week one completed!!!! It honestly felt amazing to accomplish every single workout of week one! I’m especially excited to keep it up into week two! 🙂 So far, I feel way more productive, energized (I feel like I’m sleeping better too), and I actually feel like my stomach feels a little less bloated. It’s crazy what a week can do, but I know I need to keep the momentum going and I feel optimistic going into week two. I know it’s only going to get more challenging to keep it up, especially as the holidays approach and there are plenty of excuses to fa-la-la! 😛 But I REALLY don’t want to get distracted with this, so I hope you all don’t either! NO EXCUSES!!! Haha. Since I ran outside with Ralph all this past week, I thought it would be fun to share these old pics of us from two summers ago. This was before Ralph’s first haircut, ha! He was the FLUFFIEST pup! I think there is a lot to be said about working out with a companion. Unfortunately, Ralph isn’t much of a talker, but I did manage to get one of my runs in with Marc, as well as two elliptical workouts, and it was even more fun to push ourselves harder together and tell funny stories along the way! Goals for this week are to accomplish the below workouts, drink MORE water and to take time to stretch. I’m also sharing a snap of my go-to protein shake, as well as the protein powder I recently ordered and really like! x, A


Monday – 39 minute run (2 minutes walking/1 minute running, repeat).

Tuesday – Rest

Wednesday – 35 minutes elliptical

Thursday – 30 minute run (1 minute walking/ 2 minutes running, repeat).

Friday – 30 minute run (1 minute walking/ 2 minutes running, repeat).

Saturday – 35 minute elliptical

Sunday – Rest

What was in your protein shake and can you share you protein powder? Absolutely! I’m obsessed with these shakes!!!! They are so filling too. I’ve never properly measured any of the ingredients, and usually eyeball as I add. If you’re having trouble, let me know and I will try my best to measure and write down the exact recipe for you! Although, I don’t think you can mess this up. 😉 Ice, frozen blueberries, 2 TBSP chia seeds, spoonful of raw peanut butter, spoonful of raw honey, and one scoop of Vanilla protein powder. This is the one that I recently purchased, and I really like the taste of it! 🙂
