Hi Loves! This year I wanted to come up with some fun, festive cocktails to share with you for the holiday season! LET ME TELL YOU – these festive cocktails are TOO good! And no, I’m not just saying that. 😛 I tested them out during my Friendsgiving party and they were a huge hit! I mean, we had to run out TWICE for more ingredients because we kept running out – if that doesn’t indicate how much of a crowd pleaser these drinks are, I don’t know what will!
These festive cocktails were inspired by some of my favorite holiday flavors: pumpkin pie, apple cider, cranberry and rosemary. I wanted to come up with simple recipes that didn’t take a whole lot of work or ingredients, and I wanted four different types of drinks: a shot, cocktail, champagne and of course my good friend, Mr. Moscow Mule! 😀 It wouldn’t be the holidays without holding a copper cup now would it!? 😉 The moscow mule is one of Marc and I’s favorite drinks. So much so, all our close family and friends gifted us with the copper mugs when we moved into our apartment (I agree, they make excellent house warming gifts!) I hope you enjoy! If you have any suggestions or ideas for other festive cocktails, comment below! I would love to try out more this season!
APPLE CIDER MOSCOW MULE
Fill mug with ice. Pour equal parts apple cider and ginger beer into mug and add two shots of vodka. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
PUMPKIN PIE SHOT
Flavored Coffee Creamer (Cinnamon, Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie)
In a blender, mix equal parts pumpkin puree, vodka and flavored coffee creamer. If it looks too thick, add more creamer and a splash of vodka to thin it out! Pour into shot glass, add whipped topping and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top!
CRANBERRY ROSEMARY SPRITZ
Boil water, sugar and fresh rosemary sprigs to create a simple syrup. Set in fridge to cool down. Fill glass with ice. Pour 1 part vodka, 2 parts cranberry and a splash of the rosemary simple syrup. Top with champagne. Add a sprig of rosemary to garnish and sprinkle fresh pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!
APPLE CIDER CHAMPAGNE
Dip champagne flutes into caramel sauce then dip flutes into cinnamon sugar. Add equal parts vodka and apple cider. Top with champagne to serve. Enjoy! 🙂
