A Chic Slice of London

London is an INCREDIBLE city

I was fortunate enough to have a work trip to get over there while my little sister was studying abroad! Even though I was busy with work during the week, my sister came up from Barcelona over the weekend, and we had the best sisterly time exploring and finding the chicest slices! And we did this ALL in one weekend, so whether you’re there for just a short trip or a whole week plus+ my “Chic Travel Guide Around London” is all you need for everything classic, pink and sweet!!

Covent Garden Market

Looking for a place to walk around and window shop, while munching on Laduree macarons? This is your place! Cobble stone streets, restaurants, shopping, what more can you ask for!?

Sketch – The Gallery

Trust me, when you plan your next trip, you’re going to want to make a reservation here! So girly and fun.

Pink Doors in Notting Hill

When you save a pin on Pinterest, and visit it in person years later – it is a surreal moment! I explored all the streets of Notting Hill just to find the pink doors and to take this picture.. and I’m so glad I did!

The streets in Notting Hill are unlike anything I’ve ever walked down. Take a morning to walk through and explore the refreshing, colorful homes of Notting Hill! You’ll thank me!

Harrods

Of course a stop at Harrods is a must! From top to bottom, I love getting lost in this place! From the Egyptian escalators to the shoe floor (my favorite!) to the evening gowns, this place is amazing!

Need a hostess gift? Pick up some flowers and a bottle of wine in the market downstairs. Also have amazing souvenirs to bring home to family and friends!

Westminster Abbey

Of course I had to stop by and see the church where Kate got married! This place is spectacular to see in real life. It’s just around the corner from Big Ben, and the gift store has great keepsakes to bring home!

Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace is definitely a place to see, and I would also recommend buying a ticket to explore inside! The entire palace has rooms full of history, pictures and special moments. The top floor is like walking through a time machine of fashion and history, capturing important events throughout the lives of the Royal Family, and how their outfits have changed through time. I especially loved the framed Vogue magazine covers!

Peggy Porschen Cakes

When cakes are just as cute as the Baker who is making them, you know they HAVE to be good! Stop by the parlor for a slice of cake, pick up some adorable sugar cutout cookies to bring home for your loved ones and walk around the charming neighborhood of white homes with black doors and lanterns.

Stop by for lunch to taste the world! An amazing outdoor/indoor food market to walk through. It literally has everything imaginable! From Indian to 357938 different types of cheeses – and a grilled cheese stand! To every baked good imaginable to pizza, sandwiches, olives – I could literally go on and on! This place is awesome, and you will leave with a full stomach and a happy heart.

Transportation

To get around the city, I walked, traveled on “The Tube” and hopped on and off the red buses. The city is fairly simple to figure out! But for extra assistance, I downloaded the App “CityMapper“. I would type in my locations and then screenshot my directions, (when I was on WiFi to save data), and used that to get around everywhere!
